The John Deere Z740R is the top-tier model of the Z700 Series ZTrak™ lineup, built for homeowners with large properties who demand commercial-quality performance. It pairs a 23.5 HP Kawasaki FX V-Twin engine with John Deere’s High-Capacity PRO mower deck and a premium ComfortGlide™ suspension to deliver smooth, fast, professional-grade results.

Choose from three deck widths – 48-in., 54-in., or 60-in. – all built from heavy 9-gauge (0.15 in. / 3.8 mm) steel with welded deck reinforcements. The deep-deck design and wide, tall discharge opening move large volumes of material efficiently, leaving an even finished appearance. Cutting height adjusts in 1/4-inch increments from 1.5" to 5" using a convenient foot-lift.

Top ground speeds of up to 10.0 mph and a generous 8-gallon fuel tank keep mowing time up and downtime down. The 24-inch high-back seat with fully adjustable mechanical ComfortGlide suspension, foldable raisable armrests, and a patent-pending adjustable 3-position toe board can be tailored to any operator.
